The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Chago in the 6th minute of play forced MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's goalkeeper Edgard Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Messias lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Lucio Salvator. After having played for 11 minutes, Shao Guang Si managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shao Guang Si was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shao Guang Si scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucio Salvator, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Shao Guang Si sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Bernat hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After having played for 27 minutes, Shao Guang Si managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shao Guang Si was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Shao Guang Si took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lucio Salvator. Shao Guang Si received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Lucio Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Edgard Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Chago in the 37th minute of play. Fernando Veto hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. If Shao Guang Si had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shao Guang Si made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Zé Pedro Messias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MITRE ATLETIC CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Saverio Matei kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. When Shao Guang Si came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the MITRE ATLETIC CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Shao Guang Si couldn't finish the play. After having played for 61 minutes, Zé Pedro Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Laureano Bordat got a free kick in the 65th minute. If Zé Pedro Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shao Guang Si scored 5-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lucio Salvator, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 81 minutes of play, MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's Zé Pedro Messias made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lucio Salvator was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zé Pedro Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Shao Guang Si ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lucio Salvator was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. If Zé Pedro Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Saverio Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that MITRE ATLETIC CLUB were the better team. MITRE ATLETIC CLUB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
