Uriel Taurino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 14 minutes, Artemio Manilan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Cachorros de Ted and the MMCE FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Artemio Manilan hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Uriel Taurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Demario in the 15th minute of the match. When Ivan Quinton came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Los Cachorros de Ted fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Quinton couldn't finish the play. The MMCE FC fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when MMCE FC's Arturo Tohias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 25 played minutes Los Cachorros de Ted got a freekick which was hit by Federico Jaen. In the 26th minute, Arturo Tohias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Arturo Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot. MMCE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Tohias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Uriel Taurino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th match minute, Los Cachorros de Ted was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Federico Jaen to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Tohias in the 38th minute of play forced Los Cachorros de Ted's goalkeeper Uriel Taurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Los Cachorros de Ted defense, Nicanor Demario kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uriel Taurino. The Los Cachorros de Ted fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uriel Taurino should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Demario stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Diego Bermund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes into the match, Los Cachorros de Ted's goalkeeper Uriel Taurino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Ladio. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Bernardo George managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Cachorros de Ted's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo George was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Lauren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Ivan Quinton made a precise shot to the right of Marco Lauren. MMCE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. When Ivan Quinton came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Los Cachorros de Ted fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivan Quinton couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Los Cachorros de Ted's Uriel Taurino got control of the ball when Arturo Tohias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Los Cachorros de Ted booed when MMCE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Galoer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes, Jairo Izotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MMCE FC and the Los Cachorros de Ted players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MMCE FC's Jairo Izotz got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to Los Cachorros de Ted getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Artemio Manilan hit a great ball. When Federico Jaen fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Cachorros de Ted's protests and gave Federico Jaen a yellow card for diving instead. Marco Galoer placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! If Nicanor Demario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MMCE FC's Marco Lauren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Quinton in the 97th minute of play. MMCE FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
