With a couple of smart ball manuevers Blas Noe in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Oton saved Packets from getting behind. Feliciano Calvet kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. If Blas Noe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Hormiga Atómica's Anselmo Nevada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save La Hormiga Atómica from getting a goal against them. Bartolo Farias kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Cristo Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Noe in the 15th minute of play. Cristo Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Noe in the 18th minute of play. With a little luck, La Hormiga Atómica's Anselmo Nevada got control of the ball when Javier Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Ernesto Garoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Celio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anselmo Nevada. La Hormiga Atómica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Isaias Fliz fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Hormiga Atómica's protests and gave Isaias Fliz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, La Hormiga Atómica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Fliz to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, La Hormiga Atómica's Anselmo Nevada got control of the ball when Javier Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anselmo Nevada acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 28th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marcos Celio. When La Hormiga Atómica's Blas Noe in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Packets's goalie prevented a goal. Blas Noe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Oton having to interfere. Anselmo Nevada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Dunixi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Ernesto Garoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristo Oton was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Marcos Hotz took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Oton. Cristo Oton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Anselmo Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Arias in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Noe got free with Cristo Oton in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Blas Noes short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Cristo Oton to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A collision led to La Hormiga Atómica getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Honorato Efren hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Dunixi in the 62nd minute of play forced La Hormiga Atómica's goalkeeper Anselmo Nevada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, La Hormiga Atómica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Garoa to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Bartolo Farias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Nevada was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Anselmo Nevada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Arias in the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, La Hormiga Atómica's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Dunixi came free, but Anselmo Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, Lázaro Dunixi notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of La Hormiga Atómica's Anselmo Nevada. Anselmo Nevada was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anselmo Nevada came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Packets's Lázaro Dunixi. But to his dismay, Lázaro Dunixi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. 90 minutes into the match, La Hormiga Atómica's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Farias came free, but Anselmo Nevada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Packets's Cristo Oton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Hotz in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blas Noe got free with Cristo Oton in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Hotz charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Hotz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Hormiga Atómica players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Packets.
