After a rather tough play, Tambillo's Vladimiro Michael got a free kick in the 6th minute. Rodrigo Camerino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 10 played minutes The Punisher FC got a freekick which was hit by Erubiel Montrelle. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Punisher FC's goalkeeper Valentin Llanos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Tambillo. Benedicto Osoro stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valentin Llanos. 0-1. Erubiel Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute, Eloy Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erubiel Montrelle in the 28th minute of play forced Tambillo's goalkeeper Epifanio Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erubiel Montrelle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Punisher FC's Valentin Llanos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Tipi in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Reno made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Tambillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Sugar to maneuver through the defense. Herminio Reno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Epifanio Abella having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Reno in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Epifanio Abella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 61st minute, Dante Sugar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nicanor Urdin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Valentin Llanos made a huge save. Erubiel Montrelle kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Punisher FC's zone, Valentin Nardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Llanos came out of the goal and Valentin Nardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68th minute, Blas Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Higinio Guib came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the The Punisher FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Higinio Guib couldn't finish the play. 74 minutes into the match, The Punisher FC's Erubiel Montrelle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Abella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 76 minutes, Erubiel Montrelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Punisher FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erubiel Montrelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erubiel Montrelle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Tambillo's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Reno came free, but Epifanio Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tambillo's Epifanio Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigo Camerino in the 84th minute of play. Epifanio Abella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Montrelle in the 85th minute of the match. Herminio Reno struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Epifanio Abella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Punisher FC. 87 minutes into the match, Tambillo's goal looked a bit too open when Erubiel Montrelle came free, but Epifanio Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Montrelle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Abella having to interfere. Herminio Reno struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Epifanio Abella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Punisher FC. Valentin Llanos acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 97th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Benedicto Osoro. Chants of Tambillo echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as The Punisher FC had held the ball for most of the match.
