After 21 played minutes Zanjitas got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Conrao. In the 24th minute of the match Rene Claus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Barrionuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Juan Palben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Palben could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but David Barrionuevo made a huge save. In the 40th minute, Enzo Gonzales got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Nemesio Tabor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Barrionuevo was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Juan Palben might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over David Barrionuevo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Palben ran back to his position shaking his head. David Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Enzo Gonzales made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Nemesio Tabor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. David Barrionuevo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Enzo Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Palben's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. David Barrionuevo came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Naranjito's Juan Palben. But to his dismay, Juan Palben quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After having played for 70 minutes, Juan Palben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Naranjito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Palben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nemesio Tabor in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Barrionuevo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 played minutes Zanjitas got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Arnalt. Reynaldo Chumo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo Gonzales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nemesio Tabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Barrionuevo having to interfere. After 83 played minutes Naranjito got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Valente. With his leg Reynaldo Chumo managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Zanjitas's Camilo Enekoitz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonas Conrao kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Enzo Gonzales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Chumo having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Naranjito's Lázaro Valente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Barrionuevo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Naranjito were the better team. Naranjito's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
