In a very dangerous position, a player in Gouin AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! Coghlan FC's Jose Jayvier got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Alejo Lano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Mede saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauro Nuno's late challenge caught a Coghlan FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Nuno helped the player get up and apologised. Mauro Nuno hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Ezequiel Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Mede showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Naelio in the 40th minute of the match. Cristobal Ruisko charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristobal Ruisko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gouin AFC's Cristobal Ruisko got a free kick in the 41st minute. Alejo Lano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Mede having to make a save. If Braulio Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alejo Lano made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Gouin AFC's zone, Alejo Lano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Mede came out of the goal and Alejo Lano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gouin AFC's Mauro Nuno got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Mauro Nuno off the ground. Mauro Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 57 minutes in the game, Alejo Lano fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marcelo Mede having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Lisandro Natanael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejo Lano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Mede read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Cristobal Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gouin AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Ruisko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Gouin AFC defense, Alejo Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Mede. The Gouin AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Mede should have stopped the shot. Alejo Lano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Domingo Serafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Cristos having to interfere. The Gouin AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Mede should have stopped the shot. Claudio Naelio struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Marcelo Mede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coghlan FC. Marcelo Mede acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 94th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Lisandro Natanael. When the final whistle sounded Coghlan FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gouin AFC.
