Mataderos FC's Sergio Emperanza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Lano in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Mataderos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Hurko to maneuver through the defense. If Albino Anaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Anibal Boniel got a throw-in 22 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Braulio Loiola. 32 minutes into the match, Ricardo Vincente had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Honorio Cristos. Coghlan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Vincente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ricardo Vincente struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Honorio Cristos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataderos FC. Jeronimo Sandalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Honorio Cristos made a huge save. After 42 played minutes Coghlan FC got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Boniel. Coghlan FC's Honorio Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Vincente in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Vincente made a kick off. When Ricardo Vincente came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Mataderos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Vincente couldn't finish the play. Alejo Lano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Mataderos FC booed when Coghlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Jeronimo Sandalio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Everardo Hurko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ricardo Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Ricardo Vincente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorio Cristos was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauro Matia during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Mataderos FC booed when Coghlan FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauro Matia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute Clemente Pelagius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mataderos FC had won after a very even match.
