Ceferino Abaurre's late challenge caught a la12's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ceferino Abaurre helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Ceferino Abaurre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 7 minutes, Damaso Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. la12's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Artemio Silvino hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. la12's Elvio Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Oinatz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ceferino Gartzi came out and tried to block the shot, but Gervasio Oinatz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 15th minute. After 19 played minutes Nebraska United got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Abaurre. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Nicoll in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ceferino Gartzi saved la12 from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Oinatz in the 28th minute of play forced la12's goalkeeper Ceferino Gartzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lino Montae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lino Montae came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the la12 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Montae couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Oinatz in the 34th minute of play forced la12's goalkeeper Ceferino Gartzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceferino Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Joe Nicoll fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Gartzi having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Gervasio Oinatz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ceferino Gartzi. Gervasio Oinatz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Ceferino Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, Nebraska United's Valentin Castel got a free kick in the 50th minute. la12's Elvio Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froilan Misael made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Lino Montae sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Lino Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot. la12's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Montae was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Froilan Misael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Oinatz in the 64th minute of play forced la12's goalkeeper Ceferino Gartzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Nebraska United's Melquiades Urre got a free kick in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gervasio Oinatz in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ceferino Gartzi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ceferino Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Nicoll, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Nebraska United's Gervasio Oinatz in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye la12's goalie prevented a goal. Ceferino Gartzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Oinatz, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Valentin Castel struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Ceferino Gartzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nebraska United. If Gervasio Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute Gervasio Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Gartzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Nebraska United had played much better football throughout.
