Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Orlando Osmundo made the kick off and thus started the match. Agustin Asur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Osmundo in the 3rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Ondino in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aquilino Udalaitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gervasio Nahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phoenix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Marcial Lohitzun scored to the left of an out of position Aquilino Udalaitz, making the score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alejo Colas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustin Asur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Orlando Osmundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phoenix's supporters rose to their feet, but Orlando Osmundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Asur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Orlando Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Gervasio Nahia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustin Asur was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 27th minute, Marcial Lohitzun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Alejo Colas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gervasio Nahia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Agustin Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gervasio Nahia took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agustin Asur. Agustin Asur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Orlando Osmundo came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Phoenix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Osmundo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Medinas's zone, Gervasio Nahia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agustin Asur came out of the goal and Gervasio Nahia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Medinas defense, Alejo Colas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Asur. The Medinas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Asur should have stopped the shot. Alejo Colas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Asur having to make a save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rogelio Argider was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gervasio Nahia got free with Agustin Asur in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gervasio Nahia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustin Asur having to make a save. Orlando Osmundo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Agustin Asur didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix. In the 57th minute, Cristobal Tadzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Agustin Asur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucio Tino's late challenge caught a Phoenix's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lucio Tino helped the player get up and apologised. Lucio Tino hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. If Orlando Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Orlando Osmundo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Agustin Asur, passed just outside the right post. 65 minutes into the match, Medinas's goalkeeper Agustin Asur had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Colas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gervasio Nahia in the 70th minute of play forced Medinas's goalkeeper Agustin Asur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severo Arias hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Gervasio Nahia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Asur having to interfere. Alejo Colas might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Asur. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alejo Colas ran back to his position shaking his head. Orlando Osmundo's late challenge caught a Medinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Osmundo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Phoenix's Orlando Osmundo got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Severo Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severo Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 86 played minutes Medinas got a freekick which was hit by Severo Arias. Alejo Colas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Agustin Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phoenix were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
