When Marcelo Tuste came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Berreta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Tuste couldn't finish the play. Marcelo Tuste succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 16th playminute. 23 minutes into the game, Wilson Severino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Conrado Bembe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Tuste in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Gilabert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Marcelino Chico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Marcelo Tuste notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chuña AFC's Raul Gilabert. Raul Gilabert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 45 minutes, Marcelo Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berreta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Tuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adrian Kiliz was the one to do the kick off. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chuña AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
