Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laureano Txaran started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Dario Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Inocencio Berdoi scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anibal Jaunzuria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Justo Herena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Matias Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Corrientes's Celso Etor got a free kick in the 19th minute. Matias Semeno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Jaunzuria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Berdoi in the 26th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Machado in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matias Semeno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Celestino Camerino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matias Semeno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lucas Machado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 33 minute of play. The Plate River fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Plate River's Inocencio Berdoi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Celestino Camerino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Berdoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anibal Jaunzuria having to interfere.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lucas Machado to strike the kick off in the second half. Matias Semeno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Machado in the 58th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Plate River's Inocencio Berdoi got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Celestino Camerino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Semeno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Plate River's Ricardo Peruanton got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 70th minute, Lucas Machado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matias Semeno was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Victoriano Ranolfo hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rogelio Benino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Corrientes getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Celestino Camerino hit a great ball. If Inocencio Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Matias Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Plate River's goalkeeper Matias Semeno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celestino Camerino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Matias Semeno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Rogelio Benino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plate River and the Corrientes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Plate River's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
