After 9 minutes, Hernán Crespin made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Lagunillas F.C.'s Mateo Urdin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeo Ticho in the 24th minute of the match. Hernán Crespin kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Celso Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deportivo Libanés's Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Ticho in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernán Crespin to make the kick off. Amadeo Ticho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 57 minutes of play, Deportivo Libanés's Hernán Crespin made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mateo Urdin was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a little luck, Deportivo Libanés's Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya got control of the ball when Amadeo Ticho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lagunillas F.C.'s Hermengildo Rioja got a free kick in the 67th minute. It was beautiful to see Deportivo Libanés's Eusebio Constancio in action when he in the 69th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeo Ticho in the 72nd minute. Amadeo Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Ticho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Deportivo Libanés got a freekick which was hit by Anton Hydén. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Ticho got free with Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Deportivo Libanés's Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya got control of the ball when Amadeo Ticho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 91 played minutes Lagunillas F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Rioja. In the 95th minute of the match, Celso Ongile tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Fernando Navarro Montoya saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
