The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Maximiliano Cayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Txindoki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jose Txindoki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Gomesano. Eliseo Lesardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavio Frechoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Cayo in the 18th minute of play forced RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH's goalkeeper Octavio Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barker's Maximiliano Cayo got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 minutes, Anacleto Hotz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH and the Barker players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Barker booed when RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anacleto Hotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH's Octavio Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Ciano in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Peruanton during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Barker booed when RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Peruanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 37 minutes, Feliciano Erroman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barker and the RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 36th minute of the game. One of Barker:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH:s goal. The referee gave RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH a penalty, 38 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celso Francho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Barker's Sebastian Musko. 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Barker's zone, Desiderio Peruanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Musko came out of the goal and Desiderio Peruanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Peruanton made a kick off. Celso Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Sebastian Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 61 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Barker! In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH. Celso Francho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sebastian Musko. 3-0. With a little luck, RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH's Octavio Frechoso got control of the ball when Maximiliano Cayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sebastian Musko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celso Francho in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the game, Igor Ciano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Octavio Frechoso. Igor Ciano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. If Celso Francho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Maximiliano Cayo made a precise shot to the right of Octavio Frechoso. RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. Desiderio Peruanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Musko having to interfere. Celso Francho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Sebastian Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RACING DE VILLA ARGERICH fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barker had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
