Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcial Ascencio started the match with the kick off. Astor Flor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Bernal in the 3rd minute. Anguilan's Astor Flor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Anguilan from getting a goal against them. Anguilan's Marcial Ascencio got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Salvador Cordaryal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Anguilan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centro Galicia the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Anguilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Cordaryal to maneuver through the defense. Astor Flor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Bernal in the 29th minute. Fermin Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Ascencio in the 31st minute of play. Marcial Ascencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Boniel having to interfere. In the 36th minute Marcial Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Anguilan's Astor Flor got control of the ball when Clemente Bernal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fermin Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Marcial Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fermin Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Ascencio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Emesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marcial Ascencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fermin Boniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leandro Victoro's late challenge caught a Anguilan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 76th minute Marcial Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Marcial Ascencio came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Anguilan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Ascencio couldn't finish the play. Alfredo Emesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Astor Flor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Anguilan's Marcial Ascencio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. After 95 played minutes Anguilan got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Cordaryal. After recieving a nice pass, Centro Galicia's Remigio Illan tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anguilan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
