After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ezequiel Reno managed to get in a good position for a shot. los pitagoricos's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Reno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Montel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ezequiel Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Montel having to interfere. Cesar Montel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezequiel Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Ezequiel Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Montel having to interfere. If Anier Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Turi in the 28th minute of play forced CSyD José C. Paz's goalkeeper Cesar Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Loiola hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Rene Grabiel managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSyD José C. After a defensive mix-up in CSyD José C. Paz's zone, Fabian Mancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Montel came out of the goal and Fabian Mancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ezequiel Reno to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, CSyD José C. Paz's goalkeeper Cesar Montel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Turi. Ezequiel Reno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Montel having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Turi got free with Cesar Montel in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ezequiel Reno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Montel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. If Ezequiel Reno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Cesar Montel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 66th minute Ezequiel Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Montel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, CSyD José C. Paz's Fabian Dolfos got a free kick in the 70th minute. Isaias Turi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Cesar Montel made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Herrera in the 73rd minute of play forced los pitagoricos's goalkeeper Ciriaco Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 75th match minute, los pitagoricos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Loiola to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Cesar Montel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Isaias Turi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Montel having to interfere. After 90 played minutes CSyD José C. Paz got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Merexildo. Ciriaco Evarado came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by CSyD José C. Paz's Alejo Delfino. But to his dismay, Alejo Delfino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CSyD José C. Paz fans cheered their team off the field, for while los pitagoricos had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
