One of Los Picantes FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Linch:s goal. Los Picantes FC:s Leandro Bastiaro showed great skill when he stopped Gualterio Brais:s penalty. 6 minutes into the game, Linch's Gualterio Brais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leandro Bastiaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Claudio Dantel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Linch's supporters rose to their feet, but Claudio Dantel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Bastiaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvestre Lizer struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Leandro Bastiaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linch. In the 19th minute, Silvestre Lizer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Bastiaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Dantel in the 21st minute of play. Silvestre Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Bastiaro having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Bieito got free with Diego Etxeberri in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silvestre Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Linch booed when Los Picantes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Innocenzio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 37 minutes, Silvestre Lizer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Linch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvestre Lizer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Prudencio Garoa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Linch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Picantes FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Linch's Prudencio Garoa got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Claudio Dantel came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Linch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Dantel couldn't finish the play. Linch's Prudencio Garoa got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

If Mateo Lando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Leandro Bastiaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Etxeberri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Ladio in the 61st minute of the match. A throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game was made by Adolfo Innocenzio with Romeo Galtero as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvestre Lizer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leandro Bastiaro. That made the score 1-2 in the 78 minute of play. Claudio Dantel kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Linch's Prudencio Garoa got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Mateo Lando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leandro Bastiaro. Mateo Lando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Leandro Bastiaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Lizer, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Teodosio Ladio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linch played a much better game than Los Picantes FC and deserved their victory. The Los Picantes FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
