The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Omar Estebano sped through Los Picantes FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leandro Bastiaro. In the 10thth minute of the game Omar Estebano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Los Picantes FC's Leandro Bastiaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Los Picantes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Leobardo came free, but Leandro Bastiaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eloy Bieito struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Pedro Montrel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Picantes FC. With a little luck, Claro Argentina's Pedro Montrel got control of the ball when Romeo Galtero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claro Argentina's Pedro Montrel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Opilano in the 17th minute of play. Leandro Bastiaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Estebano's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Bonifacio Leobardo struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Estebano in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leandro Bastiaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Montrel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Ladio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Estebano in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Bastiaro saved Los Picantes FC from getting behind. Eloy Bieitos short, quick shot in the 32ndth minute got Pedro Montrel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Los Picantes FC's zone, Bonifacio Leobardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leandro Bastiaro came out of the goal and Bonifacio Leobardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claro Argentina's Felix Llanos got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Estebano in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leandro Bastiaro saved Los Picantes FC from getting behind. Omar Estebano kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teodosio Ladio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Omar Estebano put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Leandro Bastiaro. In the 60th minute Eloy Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Los Picantes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Estebano came free, but Leandro Bastiaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciro Telmo's late challenge caught a Los Picantes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Telmo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Claro Argentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Telmo to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute of the match Pablo Raphael shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Montrel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Omar Estebano might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Bastiaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Estebano ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Claro Argentina defense, Eloy Bieito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Montrel. The Claro Argentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Montrel should have stopped the shot. Pedro Montrel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Montrel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eloy Bieito's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 94th minute Eloy Bieito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Montrel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 97th minute of the match Godfredo Tximitx sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leandro Bastiaro skillfully saved the ball. The Los Picantes FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Claro Argentina's performance. The match ended with a win for Claro Argentina.
