Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 5th minute Paulino Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Santos Blasco fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talita's protests and gave Santos Blasco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Talita's Santos Blasco got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the game, Santo Oro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Empalme FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talita the free kick. A collision led to Empalme FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Santo Oro hit a great ball. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Empalme FC! 13 minutes into the game, Talita's Emiliano Laurendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Tiadoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Paulino Bela struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ceferino Eufrasio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Empalme FC. In the 20th minute, Paulino Bela got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Guillermo Txomin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ceferino Eufrasio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 played minutes Talita got a freekick which was hit by Celestino Eleder. 28 minutes into the match, Paulino Bela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceferino Eufrasio. Talita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Bela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Honorato Miro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Empalme FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorato Miro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Eufrasio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ceferino Eufrasio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Miro in the 38th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Paulino Bela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Eufrasio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the match, Talita's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Miro came free, but Ceferino Eufrasio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47thth minute of the game Paulino Bela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talita's Ceferino Eufrasio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Bela to make the kick off. A collision led to Talita getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Santos Blasco hit a great ball. Paulino Bela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Paulino Bela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talita's Ceferino Eufrasio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benjamin Nardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Eufrasio having to interfere. Ceferino Eufrasio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Bela in the 77th minute. If Paulino Bela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Eleder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute.
