Intercontinental Series's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Resolana the free kick. After a rather tough play, Intercontinental Series's Ciriaco Farias got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Dionisio Furman struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Artemio Matia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resolana. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionisio Furman in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artemio Matia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciriaco Farias struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Virgil Ţăranu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Intercontinental Series. After 22 played minutes Intercontinental Series got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Farias. After 23 played minutes Resolana got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Bernabel. Virgil Ţăranu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ciriaco Farias showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. Resolana's Virgil Ţăranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Gonzalez in the 28th minute of play. Patricio Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Intercontinental Series's goalkeeper Artemio Matia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Intercontinental Series's Artemio Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Bernabel in the 33rd minute of play. Dionisio Furman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Artemio Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Dionisio Furman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Intercontinental Series's Artemio Matia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Patricio Gonzalez succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciriaco Farias was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Leonardo Bernabel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Artemio Matia, 2-1. Patricio Gonzalez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Dionisio Jerardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Intercontinental Series's Rafael Truylos got a free kick in the 58th minute. Virgil Ţăranu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Gonzalez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 66 played minutes Resolana got a freekick which was hit by Dionisio Jerardo. Resolana's Leonardo Bernabel got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Artemio Matia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dionisio Furman went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Patricio Gonzalez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Virgil Ţăranu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 76 in the game by Dionisio Furman from a close distance when the talented Artemio Matia managed to make a qualified save. Intercontinental Series's players were relieved. Resolana's Virgil Ţăranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Farias in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Intercontinental Series's Rafael Truylos got a free kick in the 89th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Leonardo Bernabel notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Intercontinental Series's Artemio Matia. Artemio Matia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgil Ţăranu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Farias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Resolana walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
