Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Central Cerro Monje's zone, Flavio Eusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Gaitan came out of the goal and Flavio Eusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huascán's Godofredo Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Adrio in the 9th minute of play. Gavino Hegoi kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. If Epifanio Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Gaitan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Pagomari, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a rather tough play, Central Cerro Monje's Marciano Soin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The corner ended in Godfredo Banegas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Central Cerro Monje's Fabio Gaitan did a great save. A collision led to Huascán getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Flavio Eusko hit a great ball. Fabio Gaitan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Pagomari in the 32nd minute. Alejo Javiero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Gaitan having to interfere. In the 35thth minute of the game Epifanio Pagomari who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Central Cerro Monje's Fabio Gaitan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Alejo Javiero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huascán's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejo Javiero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Flavio Eusko was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 42 minutes had been played. Flavio Eusko kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Benjamin Abastas, 43 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Godofredo Frechoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Raphael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Godofredo Adrio in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Frechoso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Huascán's Godofredo Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Raphael in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alejo Javiero was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejo Javiero in the 53rd minute of play forced Central Cerro Monje's goalkeeper Fabio Gaitan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th play minute Jacinto Raphael came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Godofredo Frechoso. 1-1. 58 minutes into the match, Jacinto Raphael notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Huascán's Godofredo Frechoso. Godofredo Frechoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 61 minutes into the game, Epifanio Pagomari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huascán's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Central Cerro Monje the free kick. Godofredo Adrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Frechoso having to interfere. Godofredo Adrio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Godofredo Frechoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Froilan Frichoso fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huascán's protests and gave Froilan Frichoso a yellow card for diving instead. After 78 played minutes Huascán got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Frichoso. After 80 played minutes Huascán got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Ongile. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Huascán:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Central Cerro Monje:s goal. Benjamin Abastas shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Godofredo Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godofredo Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Alejo Javiero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Gaitan having to interfere. Epifanio Pagomari struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Fabio Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huascán. Huascán's Epifanio Pagomari got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Central Cerro Monje players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
