In the 6th minute, Jorge Resto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CellCenter Pergamino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Godofredo Oliveiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Lano having to interfere. If Paulo Crispo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laureano Idacio during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Conrado Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the A.A Ramos Mejía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Abancens couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Carmelo Chaime put in a rough tackle. In the 27th minute, one of CellCenter Pergamino:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CellCenter Pergamino. The referee gave A.A Ramos Mejía a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Conrado Abancens, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CellCenter Pergamino's Javier Lano. 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in A.A Ramos Mejía's zone, Jorge Resto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Gabrio came out of the goal and Jorge Resto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, A.A Ramos Mejía was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Chorche to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Resto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Gabrio having to make a save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Resto to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Sergio Aragones managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.A Ramos Mejía's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Aragones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Lano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Idacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Carlos Gabrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gregorio Chorche kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Carlos Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Foro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 77 minutes, Jorge Resto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CellCenter Pergamino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorge Resto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Aragones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javier Lano having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Resto got free with Carlos Gabrio in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jorge Resto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Gabrio having to make a save. After 90 minutes of play, A.A Ramos Mejía's Sergio Aragones made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Lano was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Godofredo Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.A Ramos Mejía's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
