Augusto Florinio might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Txilar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Florinio ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the match, Retiro FC's Augusto Florinio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Txilar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Augusto Florinio, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 19 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Gervasio Txilar was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Florinio in the 21st minute of play forced LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10's goalkeeper Gervasio Txilar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Gabon hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ceferino Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. The audience was convinced that Augusto Florinio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Txilar was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Gervasio Txilar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Ramirez's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. After 63 played minutes LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10 got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Montay. Augusto Florinio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Txilar having to make a save. If Augusto Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugo Berbiz having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10's zone, Ceferino Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Txilar came out of the goal and Ceferino Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Augusto Florinio came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Retiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Florinio couldn't finish the play. Ariel Montay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The LA PELOTA SIEMPRE AL 10 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Retiro FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
