Guaberto Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Jose Matai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Guaberto Abancens. The goal made the score 2-0. Guaberto Abancens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. The Catenaccio FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Catenaccio FC's Clemente Esiquio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Arnulfo Misael's late challenge caught a Psicodelia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Misael helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Catenaccio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Misael to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anselmo Oalo was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Catenaccio FC's zone, Jose Matai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guaberto Abancens came out of the goal and Jose Matai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 56th minute of the match Domingos Cai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guaberto Abancens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jose Matai sped through Catenaccio FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Guaberto Abancens. 61 minutes into the match, Psicodelia's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Domiku came free, but Gregorio Cayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Matai struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Guaberto Abancens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Psicodelia. After a rather tough play, Catenaccio FC's Virgilio Domiku got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, Bernardo Quinten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Psicodelia's goalkeeper Gregorio Cayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bernardo Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Guaberto Abancens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute Anselmo Oalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregorio Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guaberto Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Lorien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Psicodelia's Gregorio Cayo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Psicodelia from getting a goal against them. Gregorio Cayo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clemente Esiquio in the 82nd minute. Gregorio Cayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Oalo in the 84th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Catenaccio FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Esiquio to maneuver through the defense. Psicodelia's Bernardo Quinten got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Catenaccio FC's Virgilio Domiku got a free kick in the 94th minute. After 96 played minutes Catenaccio FC got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Misael. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Psicodelia fully deserved thier win.
