Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicanor Astigar took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute of the match Urbano Ferdinand shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvaro Frutos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nicanor Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Orlando Estavan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Buchanan's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Pio came free, but Orlando Estavan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Orlando Estavan managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when Los Buitres's Nicanor Astigar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 16 minutes into the game, Omar Aurken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buchanan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Buitres the free kick. In the 16th match minute, Buchanan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Omar Aurken to maneuver through the defense. Nicanor Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Estavan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Astigar in the 19th minute. Orlando Estavan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ramiro Piorno in the 20th minute. Nicanor Astigars short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Orlando Estavan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Astigar couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Buchanan's Orlando Estavan got control of the ball when Ramiro Piorno tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th match minute, Buchanan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Santio to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Higinio Santio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Frutos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Frutos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Sansone in the 41st minute of the match. Julio Ondino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Buchanan's zone, Nicanor Astigar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Estavan came out of the goal and Nicanor Astigar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Sansone to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Astigar in the 54th minute of play forced Buchanan's goalkeeper Orlando Estavan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Nicanor Astigar came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Los Buitres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Astigar couldn't finish the play. Octavio Garikoitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Estavan having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Fabian Pio notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Buchanan's Orlando Estavan. Orlando Estavan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Octavio Garikoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 76 minutes of play, Los Buitres's Nicanor Astigar made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Orlando Estavan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 80 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Nabar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buchanan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Buitres the free kick. The supporters of Los Buitres booed when Buchanan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Nabar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvaro Frutos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Aurken in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute, one of Buchanan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buchanan. Octavio Garikoitz walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 88 minutes, Higinio Santio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buchanan and the Los Buitres players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Higinio Santio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabian Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
