Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edelmiro Arce in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Mitxel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute Filomeno Ponc suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Rogelio Bernaldo fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored villa pelayo's protests and gave Rogelio Bernaldo a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Bernaldo hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Federico Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lechuza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Bittor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Federico Bittor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octavio Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Mitxel having to interfere. Octavio Quinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Hermelando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Severiano George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Octavio Quinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind villa pelayo's goalkeeper Felipe Mitxel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felipe Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Hermelando in the 94th minute of play. Octavio Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Mitxel having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Natalio Nafarroa during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, villa pelayo's Natalio Nafarroa got a free kick in the 96th minute.
