Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Javier Umea made the kick off which started today's match. When Nemesio Vela fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ledesma FC's protests and gave Nemesio Vela a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Ledesma FC got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Vela. After a defensive mix-up in Ledesma FC's zone, Eulalio Gaueko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arturo Neto came out of the goal and Eulalio Gaueko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th minute Javier Umea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Justino Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Salamon in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justino Herensuge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Justino Herensuge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Umea in the 23rd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Eulalio Gaueko notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ledesma FC's Arturo Neto. Arturo Neto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 31 minutes into the match, Ledesma FC's Eduardo Salamon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Justino Herensuge narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Damaso Platon's late challenge caught a La Monstruosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Platon helped the player get up and apologised. Damaso Platon kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute of the match Tobias Ixidor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Neto skillfully saved the ball. When Eulalio Gaueko came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the La Monstruosa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eulalio Gaueko couldn't finish the play. After having played for 40 minutes, Ramiro Bilintx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Monstruosa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Bilintx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Javier Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Justino Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Salamon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Herensuge having to interfere. If Eduardo Salamon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ramiro Bilintx made a kick off. Javier Umea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Herensuge having to interfere. La Monstruosa's Ramiro Bilintx got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Eulalio Gaueko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Monstruosa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Ramiro Bilintx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eulalio Gaueko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of La Monstruosa booed when Ledesma FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Ledesma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Bilintx came free, but Arturo Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Salamon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Monstruosa fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ledesma FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
