The tension between the Team Austral and the Fortin F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cayetano Nalo hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Eduardo Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fortin F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Bras was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Soin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Team Austral's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elpidio Dolfo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Fortin F.C.'s Elpidio Dolfo to fire away a dangerous shot which David Soin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eduardo Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Aquiles Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Elpidio Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Fortin F.C.'s Eduardo Bras sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Soin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Soin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodolfo Medero, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Eduardo Bras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Team Austral's David Soin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Bras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Soin was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Bras in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Soin prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Bras made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Nalo in the 54th minute of play forced Fortin F.C.'s goalkeeper Dionisio Etxatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute of the match Team Austral got a corner. Fortin F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When Silverio Lapurdi fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Austral's protests and gave Silverio Lapurdi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Team Austral getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Silverio Lapurdi hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Bras during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Bras kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. David Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortin F.C.'s Dionisio Etxatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Gabino in the 91st minute of play.
