The supporters of Ferreyra booed when Azopardo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 4 played minutes Ferreyra got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Ibar. 7 minutes into the match, Azopardo's goalkeeper Ulises Policarpio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Izotz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Abarca in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Policarpio saved Azopardo from getting behind. Raul Abarca's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, Ulises Policarpio skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jonathan Camerino kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the match, Azopardo's goalkeeper Ulises Policarpio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raul Abarca. The audience was convinced that Raul Abarca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulises Policarpio was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The supporters of Azopardo booed when Ferreyra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Izotz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raul Abarca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Ulises Policarpio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Ferreyra's Raul Abarca in the 29th minute got a chance for a shot 29th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Azopardo's goalie prevented a goal. Ulises Policarpio made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Raul Abarca sent off a good shot on target. Azopardo's Ulises Policarpio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Azopardo from getting a goal against them. 43 minutes into the match, Artemio Egoi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ulises Policarpio, 2-0. Artemio Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raul Abarca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Abarca in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Policarpio saved Azopardo from getting behind. In the 55th minute Artemio Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Policarpio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferreyra were furious when Artemio Endira was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Artemio Endira hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Artemio Egoi in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulises Policarpio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Artemio Egoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Artemio Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferreyra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 69th minute, Cesar Ibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulises Policarpio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Egoi in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Feliciano Inge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulises Policarpio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Egoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ulises Policarpio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Inge might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Policarpio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Inge ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 83rd match minute, Azopardo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Camerino to maneuver through the defense. Artemio Egoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Artemio Egoi sped through Azopardo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ulises Policarpio. In the 92nd minute, Artemio Egoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ferreyra had played much better football throughout.
