Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lisandro Bastian kicked off to start the match. In the 8th minute Lisandro Bastian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Sasoin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Azopardo's Serafin Rufio got a free kick in the 10th minute. Leonardo Bordat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Bordat struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ulises Policarpio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hipatía FC. After some careless play in the Azopardo defense, Nemesio Javiero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulises Policarpio. The Azopardo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulises Policarpio should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes in the game, Oscar Oier fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Octavio Sasoin having to interfere. When Jonathan Camerino fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Azopardo's protests and gave Jonathan Camerino a yellow card for diving instead. Placido Bertin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 26th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Leonardo Bordat might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulises Policarpio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Leonardo Bordat ran back to his position shaking his head. If Leonardo Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Bordat in the 42nd minute of play forced Azopardo's goalkeeper Ulises Policarpio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the game, Julian Argoitz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Azopardo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hipatía FC the free kick.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Leonardo Bordat to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Leonardo Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hipatía FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Bordat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulises Policarpio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octavio Sasoin came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Azopardo's Julian Argoitz. But to his dismay, Julian Argoitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Azopardo getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jonathan Camerino hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Nemesio Javiero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hipatía FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Ulises Policarpio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Bordat in the 77th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Ulises Policarpio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some careless play in the Hipatía FC defense, Lisandro Bastian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Sasoin. Azopardo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Bordat was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Maximino Petrigai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hipatía FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
