Pablo Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Bielecki having to interfere. Honorio Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Cordaro having to interfere. If Marcial Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Honorio Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Arnalt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Cordaro having to interfere. The supporters of El Abolengo booed when Canquel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Videl didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Honorio Arnalt notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Canquel's Ceferino Cordaro. Ceferino Cordaro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomero Froylan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jedrzej Bielecki. That made the score 1-1 in the 28 minute of play. After 31 minutes, Santo Azeari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Abolengo and the Canquel players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, El Abolengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Azeari to maneuver through the defense. Ceferino Cordaro came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by El Abolengo's Honorio Arnalt. But to his dismay, Honorio Arnalt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Marcial Birjaio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ceferino Cordaro was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. After 41 played minutes Canquel got a freekick which was hit by Arturo Haitz. Marcial Birjaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Cordaro having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Marcial Birjaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canquel's Ceferino Cordaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Marcial Birjaio made the kick off in the second half. If Marcial Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcial Birjaio scored 1-3 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ceferino Cordaro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 62 played minutes, Canquel's Baldomiro Rencio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jedrzej Bielecki came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Canquel reached it. Jedrzej Bielecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Haitz in the 64th minute of play. Honorio Arnalt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ceferino Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Birjaio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ceferino Cordaro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Honorio Arnalt struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Ceferino Cordaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Abolengo. After a defensive mix-up in Canquel's zone, Santo Azeari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Cordaro came out of the goal and Santo Azeari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Birjaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Cordaro having to make a save. Ceferino Cordaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Arnalt in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Marcial Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Abolengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Birjaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92ndth minute of the game Marcial Birjaio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Canquel's Ceferino Cordaro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Marcial Birjaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Abolengo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcial Birjaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Abolengo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
