Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Eustaquio Bihar made the kick off which started today's match. Nestor Gabon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Presebal having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gerli FC's Nestor Gabon got a free kick in the 13th minute. The Obanta fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Obanta's Eustaquio Bihar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 19th minute, Eustaquio Bihar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 34 minutes into the match, Luis Cresconio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Obanta's Lisandro Presebal. Lisandro Presebal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eustaquio Bihar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bonifacio Donostia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lisandro Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Cresconio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 played minutes Obanta got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Gamus. Valentin Nofre took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lisandro Presebal. Lisandro Presebal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
In the 51st minute, Evelio Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Chico received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lisandro Presebal came out and tried to block the shot, but Gonzalo Chico slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Bihar in the 62nd minute of play forced Gerli FC's goalkeeper Bonifacio Donostia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustaquio Bihar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Obanta's Lisandro Presebal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Obanta from getting a goal against them. When Nestor Gabon fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gerli FC's protests and gave Nestor Gabon a yellow card for diving instead. Nestor Gabon hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, Gerli FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Malvin to maneuver through the defense. Obanta's Cosme Pero couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gerli FC. If Valentin Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gerli FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alejo Malvin hit a great ball. The Obanta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gerli FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Gerli FC.
