Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Oscar Menendo made the kick off which started today's match. When POTENCIA FC's Cesar Beltza in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Celino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th match minute, POTENCIA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Louis to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, La Carpatilla FC's goalkeeper Freddy Manuelo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Venancio Etxeberri. La Carpatilla FC's Freddy Manuelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Beltza in the 29th minute of play. Cesar Beltza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Freddy Manuelo having to make a save. Nicolas Playo kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. POTENCIA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo Muno in the 36th minute. POTENCIA FC's Adolfo Muno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Freddy Manuelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mauro Celino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Quiroga in the 38th minute of the match. Freddy Manuelo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Venancio Etxeberri in the 40th minute. With an all-out effort, POTENCIA FC's Freddy Manuelo threw himself towards the right post 49 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cesar Beltza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Beltza to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Venancio Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Manuelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Manuelo came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by POTENCIA FC's Venancio Etxeberri. But to his dismay, Venancio Etxeberri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Venancio Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Freddy Manuelo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Freddy Manuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Beltza in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Carpatilla FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adolfo Muno was slow to take the kick. During this time POTENCIA FC's players had a chance to rest. POTENCIA FC's Adolfo Muno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Freddy Manuelo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Cesar Beltza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freddy Manuelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Venancio Etxeberri in the 79th minute of play. Cesar Beltza might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Freddy Manuelo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Beltza ran back to his position shaking his head. When Venancio Etxeberri came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the POTENCIA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Venancio Etxeberri couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Venancio Etxeberri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Carpatilla FC's zone, Venancio Etxeberri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddy Manuelo came out of the goal and Venancio Etxeberri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
