After 9 played minutes Gessler got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Irrintzi. Cristiano Natalucci hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Peyo in the 12th minute of play forced Gessler's goalkeeper Ascencio Viego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Gessler defense, Benicio Beltza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ascencio Viego. The Gessler fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ascencio Viego should have stopped the shot. Jimeno Peyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ascencio Viego having to interfere. Ascencio Viego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Beltza in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Modesto Oso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ascencio Viego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Milio in the 28th minute of play forced Gessler's goalkeeper Ascencio Viego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Gessler's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Txatxu came free, but Ascencio Viego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ascencio Viego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Beltza in the 39th minute of play. Bernardino Todor took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ascencio Viego. Ascencio Viego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Agustin Txatxu scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ascencio Viego, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agustin Txatxu was the one to do the kick off. Eulalio Delfino's late challenge caught a 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Delfino helped the player get up and apologised. After 52 played minutes Gessler got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Delfino. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Peio in the 57th minute of play forced 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne's goalkeeper Manuel Urki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Urki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Peio in the 60th minute of the match. Niceto Peio scored 1-3 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Urki, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Teo Chabier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Urki having to interfere. Manuel Urki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Natalucci, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Jimeno Peyo fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne's protests and gave Jimeno Peyo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 2 de Choclo 1 de Carne getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jimeno Peyo hit a great ball. Niceto Peio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Niceto Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gessler's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niceto Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardino Todor charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Todor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute of the match, Bernardino Todor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ascencio Viego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Gessler getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Niceto Peio hit a great ball. Jimeno Peyo kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match.
