Teodosio Hermelando hit a great ball. Ballester FC's Desiderio Montxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Mambru in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Aldo Cordarell left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ballester FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Aldo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Mambru in the 45th minute of play forced Ballester FC's goalkeeper Desiderio Montxo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ballester FC defense, Casimiro Mambru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Desiderio Montxo. The Ballester FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Desiderio Montxo should have stopped the shot. After the first half Barreal were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aldo Cordarell made a kick off. Ballester FC's Desiderio Montxo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Ballester FC from getting a goal against them. Ballester FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Casimiro Mambru scored to the left of an out of position Desiderio Montxo, making the score, 1-4. Desiderio Montxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Favila in the 61st minute of play. Desiderio Montxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Quintana kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th minute, Casimiro Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barreal's Filiberto Quintana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ramon Baristo, made in the 72nd minute of the game. Desiderio Montxo made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Filiberto Quintana sent off a good shot on target. In the 73rdth minute of the game Casimiro Mambru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ballester FC's Desiderio Montxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Desiderio Montxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Casimiro Mambru made a precise shot to the right of Desiderio Montxo. Ballester FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-5. Ruben Francis took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Montxo. Desiderio Montxo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-6. Desiderio Montxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lisandro Estevez in the 90th minute of the match. Desiderio Montxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Montxo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Casimiro Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Ballester FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barreal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
