Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Fanuco started the match with the kick off. Ramon Malvin came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Español's Paulo Fanuco. But to his dismay, Paulo Fanuco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8thth minute of the game Cipriano Ebardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colón de Santa Fe's Ramon Malvin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antonio Naike hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. When Cristian Truylos fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Español's protests and gave Cristian Truylos a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Truylos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Astor Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Licerio in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Rogelio Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Sein was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rogelio Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Sein having to interfere. In the 23rd minute, Eliseo Arias made a precise shot to the right of Ramon Malvin. Colón de Santa Fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The supporters of Deportivo Español booed when Colón de Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Naike didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Fanuco struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Ramon Malvin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Español. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Español's Eliseo Arias got a free kick in the 31st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Cipriano Ebardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Español's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Ebardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Malvin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rogelio Arce recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rogelio Arce struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Astor Sein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón de Santa Fe. When Paulo Fanuco came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Deportivo Español fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Fanuco couldn't finish the play. In the 47thth minute of the game Cipriano Ebardo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colón de Santa Fe's Ramon Malvin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mauricio Licerio made a kick off. In the 59th minute Paulo Fanuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Malvin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Colón de Santa Fe getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Juan Porfirio hit a great ball. Cipriano Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramon Malvin having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Mauricio Licerio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauricio Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Astor Sein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rogelio Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cipriano Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Ramon Malvin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Fanuco got in the 80th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Ramon Malvin handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Fanuco in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Malvin saved Colón de Santa Fe from getting behind. A collision led to Colón de Santa Fe getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Teofilo Lonzo hit a great ball. The supporters of Colón de Santa Fe booed when Deportivo Español was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball.
