The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Guido Herrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Tomas Ramirez took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Guido Herrera. Perinola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jonathan Olentzaro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Achirense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathan Olentzaro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Herrera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Achirense FC's Orlando Txatxu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Guido Herrera. Guido Herrera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Saturnin in the 23rd minute of play forced Achirense FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Americo Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Perinola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Achirense FC the free kick. In the 26th match minute, Perinola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Americo Vidal to maneuver through the defense. If Celestino Osmundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jonathan Olentzaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orlando Txatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Herrera having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Jonathan Olentzaro came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Achirense FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Olentzaro couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Olentzaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Guido Herrera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Omar Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lázaro Transito having to interfere. Lázaro Transito made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Gabriel Ihintza sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Achirense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Rios came free, but Lázaro Transito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ismael Quintun fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Perinola's protests and gave Ismael Quintun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, one of Perinola:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Perinola. Orlando Txatxu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guido Herrera having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Erramun in the 82nd minute of play forced Achirense FC's goalkeeper Lázaro Transito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Jonathan Olentzaro left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Achirense FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Guido Herrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Txatxu in the 88th minute of play. Perinola's Guido Herrera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Olentzaro in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Achirense FC fully deserved thier win.
