The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Ramiro Franco rounded Domingo 32 de Otoño FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 7 minutes, Roberto Franco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Domingo 32 de Otoño FC and the Banfiel Oeste players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roberto Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Fernando Evis hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Generoso Gines stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roberto Franco's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th match minute, Domingo 32 de Otoño FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Evis to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Evis kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Roberto Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Waegemans having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Higinio Llorienzo got free with Charles Waegemans in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Domingo 32 de Otoño FC's Remigio Veronica got a free kick in the 46th minute. In the 47th minute, Matias Gaspard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Roberto Franco made the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Roberto Franco who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Banfiel Oeste's Generoso Gines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Higinio Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfiel Oeste's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Llorienzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Waegemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Franco hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Eustaquio Hanot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Generoso Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd play minute Roberto Franco came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Generoso Gines. 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Llorienzo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Waegemans saved Domingo 32 de Otoño FC from getting behind. The Banfiel Oeste manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Domingo 32 de Otoño FC to win.
