The referee felt a red card was in order, 4 minutes into the game, when Fulgencio Kinsen put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Invocadores fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 3rd minute. Penalty! Fausto Domenec shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Everardo Matro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Padro having to interfere. After 15 played minutes RIVERPLEY got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Vasco. Anacleto Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Isauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, RIVERPLEY's Aquiles Vasco got a free kick in the 17th minute. Anacleto Inko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Isauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Romeo Erramu charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romeo Erramu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes RIVERPLEY got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Erramu. Cecilio Baldovino hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Everardo Matro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Vladimiro Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Vasco in the 32nd minute of play. Everardo Matro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Vladimiro Padro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eriberto Dominic's late challenge caught a RIVERPLEY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eriberto Dominic helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Invocadores getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eriberto Dominic hit a great ball. When Niceto Batista fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invocadores's protests and gave Niceto Batista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Invocadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niceto Batista to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 40 in the game by Nunez Ostadar from a close distance when the talented Vladimiro Padro managed to make a qualified save. Invocadores's players were relieved. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marco Isauro to strike the kick off in the second half. Vladimiro Padro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cayetano Sansone went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aquiles Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot. RIVERPLEY's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Vasco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Padro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Inko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Froilan Ibañez in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Invocadores's zone, Everardo Matro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Padro came out of the goal and Everardo Matro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 65 minutes, Froilan Ibañez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invocadores and the RIVERPLEY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 65 played minutes Invocadores got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Ibañez. Vladimiro Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Ostadar in the 67th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Invocadores's goal looked a bit too open when Nunez Ostadar came free, but Vladimiro Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RIVERPLEY's Anacleto Inko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Batista in the 70th minute of play. RIVERPLEY's Anacleto Inko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save RIVERPLEY from getting a goal against them. In the 78th minute, Niceto Batista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nunez Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. RIVERPLEY's attack was well implemented in the 87th minute, but when Nunez Ostadar was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Vladimiro Padro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Sansone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RIVERPLEY fully deserved thier win.
