Horacio Su made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ciro Jusepe in the 9th minute. Horacio Su showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Tonio, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Horacio Su stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atilano Tonio's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Evelio Roano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Jonathan Oalo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Rivertidísimo VGesell got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Rolado. Jonathan Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Roano in the 25th minute of the match. Apolo Perfecto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Merlo fc booed when Rivertidísimo VGesell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Eleazar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Evelio Roano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Oalo. Merlo fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Roano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Jonathan Oalo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Roano in the 36th minute of the match. Horacio Su made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Ciro Jusepe sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivertidísimo VGesell's goalkeeper Horacio Su, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Su having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Atilano Tonio put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Horacio Su. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Atilano Tonio made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Merlo fc's Atilano Tonio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horacio Su made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Apolo Perfecto fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rivertidísimo VGesell's protests and gave Apolo Perfecto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Rivertidísimo VGesell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Perfecto to maneuver through the defense. Ciro Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Su having to interfere. Rivertidísimo VGesell's Benjamin Roano couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Merlo fc. Gerardo Goizeder shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 74th minute Atilano Tonio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Su saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Horacio Su took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Jusepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evelio Roano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Oalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Atilano Tonio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horacio Su having to make a save. Ciro Jusepe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horacio Su having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 100th minute of the game. One of Merlo fc:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Rivertidísimo VGesell:s goal. Rivertidísimo VGesell's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
