After 7 minutes of play, Olivos - A New Hope's Luisito Elivareo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rosendo Umea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisito Elivareo kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Efrain Cefero was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Orlando Erramu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Erramu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Efrain Cefero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Erramu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th match minute, Olivos - A New Hope was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Gil to maneuver through the defense. Albino Garci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Thunders! The referee gave Olivos - A New Hope a penalty, 31 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ramon Gonzalez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Thunders's Rosendo Umea. 1-2. With a little luck, Olivos - A New Hope's Efrain Cefero got control of the ball when Orlando Erramu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olivos - A New Hope's Luisito Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute of the match Felix Nesor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Cefero skillfully saved the ball. Angelino Lluc hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Leonardo Loramendi made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Olivos - A New Hope booed when Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Canor didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ramon Gonzalez came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Olivos - A New Hope fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramon Gonzalez couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Olivos - A New Hope's Rosendo Umea threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angelino Lluc, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After having played for 67 minutes, Orlando Erramu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thunders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Erramu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Erramu in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Efrain Cefero saved Olivos - A New Hope from getting behind. If Luisito Elivareo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaston Precioso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Thunders's Rosendo Umea got control of the ball when Luisito Elivareo tried to sneak it across the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Thunders's goalkeeper Rosendo Umea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisito Elivareo. Orlando Erramu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Cefero having to interfere. Orlando Erramu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Abel Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Thunders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Domiku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angelino Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The supporters of Olivos - A New Hope booed when Thunders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albino Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thunders's Rosendo Umea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Thunders from getting a goal against them. Olivos - A New Hope's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
