In the 8th minute Elias Calvino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Natal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Meder kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. When Elias Calvino came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Club Atlético San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Calvino couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Club Atlético San Lorenzo getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Saturnino Sotero hit a great ball. Augusto Aritza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ramon Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Chago got free with Mauro Natal in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Augusto Aritza came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Nacimiento AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Aritza couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Eneto in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramon Matai saved Club Atlético San Lorenzo from getting behind. 33 minutes into the game, Tadeo Eneto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ramon Matai was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Nacimiento AFC's Justo Goi got a free kick in the 36th minute. Tadeo Eneto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ramon Matai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético San Lorenzo's zone, Augusto Aritza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Matai came out of the goal and Augusto Aritza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Calvino was the one to do the kick off. Ramon Matai came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Nacimiento AFC's Anier Meder. But to his dismay, Anier Meder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Eneto in the 59th minute of play forced Club Atlético San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Ramon Matai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Natal might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Matai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ildefonso Natal ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute, Augusto Aritza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Matai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Sotero during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Nacimiento AFC booed when Club Atlético San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético San Lorenzo's zone, Augusto Aritza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Matai came out of the goal and Augusto Aritza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 82nd minute, Agustin Fresco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Club Atlético San Lorenzo defense, Tadeo Eneto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramon Matai. The Club Atlético San Lorenzo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramon Matai should have stopped the shot. Mauro Natal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Chago in the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nacimiento AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
