After a defensive mix-up in Luján's zone, Cristian Jaunzuria stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Hanni came out of the goal and Cristian Jaunzuria tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luján's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Nicolas Menendo scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Hanni, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as CA Temperley's Nicolas Menendo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Humberto Hanni. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Nicolas Menendo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Humberto Hanni made a huge save. In the 30th minute Alvaro Hermon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Erramu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Menendo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Jaunzuria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. German Cuartio made in the 57th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alvaro Hermon however managed to control. David Sindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Laureano Erramu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isidro Toribio during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CA Temperley! The goalkeeper, Laureano Erramu, was totally fooled by Luján's Marcial Confesor, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Hector Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Luján's Alvaro Behe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laureano Erramu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Humberto Hanni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicolas Menendo went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Menendo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Hanni was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. The CA Temperley fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when CA Temperley's Nicolas Menendo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute, Alvaro Behe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA Temperley's attentive Cristian Jaunzuria managed to snatch the ball when Delmiro Lekubegi made a throw-in in the 92nd minute of the game. When CA Temperley's Nicolas Menendo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luján's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that CA Temperley were the better team. CA Temperley's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
