Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leonel Roland got the match started through his kick off. Leonel Roland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Obano having to interfere. The supporters of Euscadi AFC booed when Gualeguay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Chorche in the 8th minute of play forced Gualeguay FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustavo Darien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Frichoso in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Ramiro Raymond rounded Euscadi AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 20 played minutes Gualeguay FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Raymond. Gustavo Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Chorche in the 22nd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Ignacio Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Euscadi AFC's Paulino Obano got control of the ball when Damian Chago tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Gualeguay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonides Ciceron to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Mederi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Felipe Chorche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gualeguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Chorche came free, but Gustavo Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felipe Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gualeguay FC's Gustavo Darien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Chorche in the 53rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Chorche in the 54th minute of play forced Gualeguay FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Obano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Ciceron, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 69th minute of the match, Felipe Chorche tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gustavo Darien saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 76 minutes into the match, Gualeguay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Chorche came free, but Gustavo Darien reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gualeguay FC's Evaristo Urtzi got a free kick in the 81st minute. Gustavo Darien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Chorche in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Chorche in the 84th minute of play forced Gualeguay FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Darien to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gualeguay FC's Evaristo Urtzi got a free kick in the 85th minute. If Felipe Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damian Chago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gualeguay FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
