Teofilo Bembe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Mateus having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Kassimpasa FC's Jairo Gartxot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ceferino Mateus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ḩaiƪe Selaššie ڸƦϜ's Marcelo Isias got a free kick in the 20th minute. Kassimpasa FC's Faustino Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Isias in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Ḩaiƪe Selaššie ڸƦϜ's goalkeeper Ceferino Mateus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teofilo Bembe. After some careless play in the Kassimpasa FC defense, Basilio Olo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Hunfredo. The Kassimpasa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Hunfredo should have stopped the shot. Jairo Gartxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ceferino Mateus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Kassimpasa FC's zone, Marcelo Isias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Hunfredo came out of the goal and Marcelo Isias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Faustino Hunfredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Marcelo Isias reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Faustino Hunfredo. The goal made the score 1-2. Ceferino Mateus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Venancio Lehen, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The supporters of Ḩaiƪe Selaššie ڸƦϜ booed when Kassimpasa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Argi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Napier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Faustino Hunfredo made a huge save. Augusto Nastasio hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Tomás Monico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Faustino Hunfredo. Kassimpasa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomás Monico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Chants of Ḩaiƪe Selaššie ڸƦϜ echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Kassimpasa FC had held the ball for most of the match.
