Rafael Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Mateo in the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute Aurelio Fortun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Cortez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Ermegildo Enekoitz made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Erasto. Mazzeteam's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Aurelio Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cortez having to interfere. If Filiberto Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andino S.C were furious when Mateo Gumaro was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Andino S.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Mazzeteam getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gregorio Eyague hit a great ball. Severo Isidor's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Rafael Erasto - 1-3 was put on the score board in the 48th minute. The Mazzeteam players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Andino S.C were winning 1-3.

After 54 played minutes Mazzeteam got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Eyague. Filiberto Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Rafael Erasto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filiberto Mateos short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Rafael Erasto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Francisco Dantel's late challenge caught a Andino S.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Francisco Dantel helped the player get up and apologised. Rafael Erasto went to the wrong direction when Severo Isidor was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ramiro Solustiano kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Filiberto Mateo in the 74thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rafael Erasto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Fortun in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Cortez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Mazzeteam defense, Filiberto Mateo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Erasto. The Mazzeteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Erasto should have stopped the shot. After 83 played minutes Andino S.C got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Nisio. Filiberto Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Fernando Camerino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Andino S.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Richie in the 92nd minute of play forced Andino S.C's goalkeeper Rodrigo Cortez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Gonza hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Hugo Nisio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gregorio Eyague fell near the penalty area in the 98th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mazzeteam's protests and gave Gregorio Eyague a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mazzeteam's Gregorio Eyague got a free kick in the 98th minute. Aurelio Fortun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Cortez having to interfere.
