A collision led to Villa la Pava getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Marco Belmiro hit a great ball. Luisito Matia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Vincente in the 24th minute of the match. Curumalán's Zenon Pilarczyk got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luisito Matia made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Zenon Pilarczyk sent off a good shot on target. Cesar Ourente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Maurino, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Villa la Pava! Luisito Matia had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Zenon Pilarczyk's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Luisito Matia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Vincente, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Urbano Vincente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cesar Ourente showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Maurino in the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Urbano Vincente put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Luisito Matia. In the 73rd minute, Rigoberto Arnau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Villa la Pava's Luisito Matia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Vincente in the 75th minute of play. The supporters of Curumalán booed when Villa la Pava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Arnau didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Maurino in the 81st minute of play forced Curumalán's goalkeeper Cesar Ourente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81stth minute of the game Vinicio Maurino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curumalán's Cesar Ourente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Villa la Pava's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Vincente came free, but Luisito Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zenon Pilarczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Luisito Matia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Curumalán's Evaristo Telesforo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Evaristo Telesforo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Curumalán protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Evaristo Telesforo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Rigoberto Arnau didn't quite understand what happened when in the 93 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After a defensive mix-up in Villa la Pava's zone, Zenon Pilarczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Matia came out of the goal and Zenon Pilarczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
