Celestino Piearres was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Genaro Aureo. In the 12th minute of the match, Rene Jacob tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Celestino Piearres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Totakoxe in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Arlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Marcones's late challenge caught a MDQPEÑAROL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavio Marcones helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of MDQPEÑAROL booed when Loventuel AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Totakoxe in the 31st minute of play forced Loventuel AFC's goalkeeper Prudencio Arlo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Celestino Piearres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Jacob, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Baltasar Elixio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Antonio Mercurio fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rene Jacob made a kick off. A collision led to Loventuel AFC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play.
