Tinto y Soda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serafin Hernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Roldanillo in the 11th minute of the match. Jacobo Corderun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Transito, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the last second Jacobo Corderun throw himself and got hold of the ball when Leopoldo Transito in the 15thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After some careless play in the Tolojna AFC defense, Lisandro Lidon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Serafin Hernandez. The Tolojna AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Serafin Hernandez should have stopped the shot. Serafin Hernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Mondragón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Severiano Abella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafin Hernandez. Tolojna AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Severiano Abella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Celedonio Urtats kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Tolojna AFC's Leopoldo Transito got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tinto y Soda's Jacobo Corderun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Tinto y Soda from getting a goal against them. Segundo Roldanillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafin Hernandez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Segundo Roldanillo ran back to his position shaking his head. 41 minutes into the match, Tinto y Soda's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Transito came free, but Jacobo Corderun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot was a little too simple and Serafin Hernandez could save by the left post. Tinto y Soda played a much better game than Tolojna AFC and deserved their victory. The Tolojna AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
