When Adan Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pasos de los toros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adan Abeijon couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the match, Pasos de los toros's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Gudesteo came free, but Bruno Lawrence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Lawrence took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Gudesteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Olayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adan Abeijon went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Bruno Lawrence showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Oriche in the 52nd minute of the match. Adan Abeijon struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Julian Olayo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasos de los toros. 60 minutes into the game, Anastasio Havier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salazar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pasos de los toros the free kick. After 61 played minutes Salazar got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Havier. 64 minutes into the match, Pasos de los toros's goalkeeper Bruno Lawrence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Gudesteo. Adan Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Julian Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
