Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Israel Gonsalvo kicked off to start the match. Moises Mino's late challenge caught a Volcan Populi Futbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Mino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Volcan Populi Futbol. Gerd Müller stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jesus Iztal. 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Omar Natal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Volcan Populi Futbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calfucurá the free kick. After 11 played minutes Volcan Populi Futbol got a freekick which was hit by Omar Natal. Cesar Gora kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Gerd Müller shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jesus Iztal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Israel Gonsalvo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Agustin Mazuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Iztal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Israel Gonsalvo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Calfucurá's Carlos Munio in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Volcan Populi Futbol's goalie prevented a goal. 33 minutes into the match, Carlos Munio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roy McSteven, 1-2. 36 minutes into the match, Volcan Populi Futbol's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Munio came free, but Roy McSteven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Teofilio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Roy McSteven skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jesus Iztal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Gonsalvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 40thth minute of the game Carlos Munio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volcan Populi Futbol's Roy McSteven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Israel Gonsalvo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jesus Iztal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Munio was the one to do the kick off. Carlos Munio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Munio in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roy McSteven saved Volcan Populi Futbol from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Carlos Munio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roy McSteven was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute, Fulgencio Aresti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Omar Natal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After 61 played minutes, Calfucurá's Eulalio Valiente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roy McSteven came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calfucurá reached it. Moises Mino was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gerd Müller was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Volcan Populi Futbol's Fulgencio Aresti got a free kick in the 74th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Teofilio in the 78th minute of play forced Volcan Populi Futbol's goalkeeper Roy McSteven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Aresti was shown his second yellow card after 80 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fulgencio Aresti kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Calfucurá's Jesus Iztal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Calfucurá from getting a goal against them. In the 86th minute, Arsenio Teofilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st minute, Bonifacio Romano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arsenio Teofilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calfucurá's Arsenio Teofilio got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Volcan Populi Futbol supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Volcan Populi Futbol would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
